Rehabilitation
Cooper River Post Acute has our own certified in-house therapy team to treat patients more efficiently and timely. With televisions in each of our rehabilitation rooms, you can relax and enjoy a favorite movie or TV show while you rest from your therapy. If you still want to move around, you can enjoy some of our scheduled daily activities. Your comfort is our priority.
Cooper River proudly offers: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Nutrition Therapy, VitalStim Therapy Certified, and Geriatric Specialist Physical Therapy.

Cooper River was outstanding and caring for my father well he was in hospice a little over a month. During this time they took exceptional good care of him especially one of his aids named Erica. She went Way Beyond the duty and she always had him up in his chair dressed before breakfast. In addition all of the AIDS and nurses did exceptional great job and I would definitely use them again. By the way they were always fully staffed. I never observed a staffing shortage. The staff and management gets a full five stars and I don’t give that often on anything.

Exceptional caring administration and clinical team ! Took the best care of my husband and myself that anyone could ask for – and I’m an RN many years . The staff Toni Lashonda Azam Emily Roberta and so many others are all exemplary! Great support for physical therapy speech therapy occupational therapy- dieticians are wonderful as well ! Cannot say enough good things the experience was exceptional.
